The partners and staff of FGS wish to congratulate Bernard Brogan on his All Star Award and being voted the 2010 GAA Footballer of the Year.

Bernard received his award at the Vodafone GAA All Stars Awards Ceremony at Citywest Hotel in Co. Dublin on Friday 15 October.

“It is a great personal honor to win this prestigious award, but it is a team game and to win as a team is everyone’s dream and the reason we put in all that hard training together,”

says Bernard.

Off the field, Bernard is a Trainee Tax Consultant with FGS,

“It’s always difficult balancing work, study and preparing for matches, but the partners at FGS and the Dublin team coaching staff have always been very supportive of both work and training commitments which makes it possible for me to do well on and off the field.”

This is Bernard’s first major award and continues a family tradition of All Stars Awards – his brother Alan and father Bernard Snr are already honored All-Stars making them the first family to have a father and two sons receiving the All Stars accolade.

Jim Mulqueen, FGS Managing Partner, says:

“This is a magnificent personal achievement for Bernard. His performance this season for Dublin has been exceptional and it is great to see that this has been recognised by the GAA sports pundits.”
