Budget 2011 Broadcast

Following the unveiling of the government’s Four Year Plan, we said that the government would leave no stone unturned, in trying to cut expenditure and collect additional revenue to meet its €15 billion target. Looking at Budget 2011, we now see what lay beneath some of those stones.

Three of our top tax experts explain in this video webcast ‘FGS Budget Broadcast 2011′, how tax changes in Budget 2011 may affect you:

  • Rory Meehan, FGS Partner, Head of Tax Team, comments on stamp duty, pensions and capital acquisition taxes.
  • Michael McGivern, FGS Tax Partner, analyses changes to personal income tax, Section 23 reliefs and capital allowances.
  • John Fisher, FGS Tax Director, summarises the impact of Budget 2011 on business with a particular focus on the Business Expansion Scheme (BES) and corporation tax.
