Michael McGivern
Michael McGivern is a partner in our Tax team and specialises in advising medium and large corporate clients in areas such as corporate reorganisation and reconstructions, international tax structuring, employment/shareholder tax issues and Revenue audits. He is an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
He also advises on personal taxation matters and succession planning.
Technology and IP
Michael has experience across a wide range of sectors – particularly in technology, the Intellectual Property sector and financial services. Much of his work is with international clients of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks.
Michael represents the Irish Taxation Institute on the Tax Advisory Liaison Committee (TALC). He has also spoken and written extensively on taxation matters on behalf of the Irish Taxation Institute and Chartered Accountants Ireland.
Michael is a Commerce graduate of University College Dublin, a Chartered Accountant and a Registered Tax Consultant (AITI). He started his career in the Revenue Commissioners and has significant Big 4 experience. He joined our firm in 2002 and was appointed a Tax Partner in 2005.
