Michael Shelley
Michael has extensive experience in delivering and coordinating the audits of large domestic and international groups. He is responsible for a large portfolio of audit clients, providing audit, assurance and business advisory services to SMEs and larger corporations.
His main area of expertise is in the start-up of indigenous and multinational technology clients. He has significant experience in areas of IFRS, US GAAP and US GAAS. In addition, Michael manages a large aircraft leasing portfolio and possesses significant industry knowledge and experience in the sector.
Michael has made numerous presentations to finance professionals and industry groups in the areas of Irish / UK GAAP, IFRS and Irish company law. He has also written extensively on Irish company law issues.
Michael joined the firm in 2006 and is a partner in the Audit, Advisory & Assurance department of RSM Farrell Grant Sparks. Michael previously held senior manager audit positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. Michael is based in our Dublin office.
