Technology

Ireland is a leading innovation hub in Europe, attracting many of the world’s best known technology and internet companies. It’s an ideal location for technology companies, with a skilled and motivated workforce, attractive R&D credit schemes, a low corporate tax rate and benign tax regime.

Ireland also has a vibrant indigenous technology sector, with many Irish businesses becoming leaders in Europe and internationally in their respective market niches.

RSM Farrell Grant Sparks has an extensive client base in the technology sector, including both indigenous and international companies. Our clients include technology start ups, SMEs, long-established technology companies and multinational entities.

We provide taxation, fundraising, auditing and accounting advice, helping clients to:

  • Set up in Ireland – we offer a one-stop shop service for overseas firms establishing operations or a holding company here for the first time
  • Raise finance through our contacts within finance, equity, venture capital and banks
  • Find the right structure to achieve their objectives in home and export markets
  • Avail of grants and tax credits, from RTI (research, technology and innovation) funding to R&D tax credits
  • Achieve an exit with significant value

A global reach

International experience is essential in this dynamic and fast-paced sector, and RSM Farrell Grant Sparks is involved in assignments with technology companies across the world, from Dublin to Silicon Valley.

Through our membership of the RSM International network, we can advise indigenous businesses on all aspects of how to expand in overseas markets, as well as assisting international companies to establish a base in Ireland.
